This is a tune built around the melody for “Alouette" a French-Canadian traditional tune. The original tune is a happy sounding melody juxtaposed with strangely cruel lyrics about pulling feathers off a live lark. This version brings fresh harmonization to the original tune and adds new sections that imagine potential answers from the perspective of the Lark. Composition by Katheryn Petersen with extemporaneous solos by Mike WT Allen and Katheryn Petersen.
